Blackened Chicken Pasta

Blackened Chicken Pasta


  • 2 lbs Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Cubed 16 oz Rotini Pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Butter
  • 1 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 3-4 Tablespoons A Cajun Life® Blackening Rub (available below)
  • 1 Tablespoon A Cajun Life® All Purpose Cajun Seasoning (available below)
  • Crumbled Bacon (Optional)


Follow box directions for Pasta

While Pasta is cooking, add Olive oil to large skillet and heat on high heat. Add cubed Chicken Breast to oil then evenly coat chicken with A Cajun Life® Blackening Rub (can add more. Chicken needs to be fully coated)*

Saute until chicken internal temp reaches 165 or higher and/or juices run clear then add Butter, Heavy Cream, Parmesan, and A Cajun Life® All Purpose Cajun Seasoning and bring to low boil. 

Simmer for 5-10 minutes then serve over pasta. Sprinkle crumbled bacon. Quick and easy meal the whole family will love!

 *For a traditional blackened chicken, do not stir chicken during saute. Coat chicken with olive oil and heavily coat with A Cajun Life® Blackening Rub. Sear for 2-3 min per side until black crust forms (warning this will create a lot of smoke, be sure hood is on high), then finish in broiler or oven until juices rub clear or internal temp reaches 165 or higher. Add to sauce once completed.
