Sautéed Shrimp

  • 1 lb peeled and deveined Shrimp
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil or melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons or season to taste A Cajun Life® Seafood Rub (available below)
In large cast iron pot or pan, heat oil or butter on medium high heat
Sprinkle A Cajun Life® Seafood Rub evenly across all sides of shrimp.  
Add to hot oil or butter and saute until shrimp turns slightly opaque or "white" in color or internal temperature reads 120 degrees or above being careful not to overcook. Constriction is the tell-tale sign that you’ve overcooked your shrimp. The longer you cook them, the tighter and tougher they will get.
